Journey to Whistler

Yesterday, I was so lucky to be able to visit Whistler! Just the drive there is beautiful.
I think I would probably to prefer to go to Whistler in the summer time then winter time, because to me, it did not seem super busy and I would probably fall alot with all the snow and ice! There were a lot of dirt bikers everywhere and the trails and jumps for them were insane, I could never do that! I was bummed that Blackcomb Gondola's were closed because they had a fire a few days ago, that hasn't completely cleared up yet. But going up the Whistler mountain gondola was pretty awesome too. You can't go up the mountain and never do the peak-to-peak adventure, that takes you from the whistler mountain to the blackcomb mountain, it was amazing. It was a little scary because if the cable ever snapped, you would deffinitely die, being so high in the air and over a valley! And of course they gotta scare you when they stop your gondola when your right in the middle of the valley!!

I also recommend going right to the top of Whistler's Mountain Peak! You have to take ski lift to the top. I didn't find it that scary having just a bar infront of you to keep you safe and having your feet dangling. It was very cold at the top too, but your just surrounded by mountain tops and a lot of them still had snow on top. I wish I wasn't wearing flip-flops and had proper walking shoes and I would of taken one of the trails that takes you too a tea house. That would of been pretty sweet to see! It was a bit of a hike up and down this rocky path that you have to take to get to and from the ski lift area. I was exhausted afterwards! But so worth all of it!

Whistler has a cute village with a lot of shops and I noticed there were a lot of brand name clothing stores, that I was surprised to see. Whistler is pretty big! When leaving we stopped at this small lake for a nice picnic. I wish we could of stopped at Shannon Falls or the Chief, I would recommend anyone else too.

I just started this blog and I don't really have anything interesting to write about.. but who cares, not like anyone is actually going to read this!
This shall be my own journal that i can write whatever is on my mind, joy! But I'm actually really tired and going to bed! :]
